The Le@rning Federation
The Le@rning Federation is an initiative of State and Federal governments of Australia and New Zealand. Since 2001 the initiative has developed online interactive curriculum content specifically for Australian and New Zealand schools. The initiative supports teachers in enhancing student learning, thereby greatly improving educational outcomes for students.
The project involves the development of systems that will allow the input and delivery of high quality curriculum online by a range of approved content developers to an agreed set of specifications. The systems also facilitate the breakdown of content into discrete 'objects' and the reassembly and repurposing of these to suit the particular needs of teachers and students.
