SCIS records are created by cataloguing agencies supported by education departments in New South Wales, Queensland and Western Australia. Additional contract cataloguers located in Adelaide, Melbourne, Auckland, Christchurch and Dunedin also contribute to the database.

Agencies Online is a password protected website for SCIS cataloguing agencies only. It provides access to a range of reports and database management tools.
Resources received for cataloguing list
The cataloguing agency of the Western Australia Department of Education and Training has established a resources awaiting cataloguing list on their website. Accessing this list will let you see which resources have arrived and are about to be catalogued. Estimates on when you can expect these records to be available for SCISWeb ordering are also provided. This information will enable you to more accurately assess which of your resources are not on the SCIS database and should be sent to an agency to be catalogued. Before contacting your SCIS agency about uncatalogued resources, we encourage you to search this list to see if the items you are looking for are in the process of being catalogued. The list is updated daily. |
