What's the difference between OZJAC On-line and OZJAC on CD?
- OZJAC On-line is web enabled - you can link from a course or provider description to the relevant web site for more detailed information;
- OZJAC CD has more search options, as well as Industry and Career Information modules.
Who uses OZJAC?
OZJAC is used by the majority of secondary schools across Australia, as part of the careers curriculum. TAFE Institutes, Universities, JobNetwork staff, private employment services providers, and independent consultants use OZJAC as part of their career advisory services or within their libraries for direct use by prospective students and their parents.
The job descriptions match those found in the popular annual publication The Job Guide, making OZJAC a great resource for detailed course and career planning.
What OZJAC subscribers say...
"I would like to congratulate your company for the production of the OZJAC program. OZJAC has helped us to provide a seamless information system to our many students and school leavers who are sometimes struggling to make sense of it all. OZJAC is easy to use and our many young people are encouraged and uplifted from the printed material that is available to them. It helps them to make well informed and self empowered decisions for their future.
OZJAC has become an integral part of our transitional education and training programme. I can highly recommend it to any organization that delivers career, vocational and educational information."
Tim Mills, Consultant, Jobs Pathway Programme, Club Crocodile Training & Employment, VIC
"We use OZJAC as our research tool of choice here at the Career Information Centre Perth, for it's price, up to dateness and ease of use by all levels of customer type. Keep up the good work!!"
David Knight, Manager, Career Information Centre Perth WA
"OZJAC is really good software. The feature that sells me is the fact that you up date the information twice a year, something I never get the time to do. I have been a careers adviser for 24 tears now, and every now and then come across a pamphlet in my careers stuff at least 10 years old - not good."
Mark Dodd, Careers Advisor, Vincentia High Schools, NSW
