Snapshots of Asia Series
Snapshots of Asia consists of a set of six big books and a teacher's guide for lower and middle primary classes. The books include full colour photographs, fact files, board games and stories of daily life. Capturing the distinctive physical and cultural aspects of life in China, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Thailand and Vietnam, the texts are designed to develop reading, writing and listening skills.

Impressions: Texts from Asia for the Lower Secondary English Classroom
This anthology contains colour graphics, ancient/contemporary poetry, epics, visual texts, novel extracts and memoirs. Each text has been selected for its capacity to prompt and promote discussion of the experiences and concepts of Asia it represents. Texts are accompanied by activities that involve critical reading, oral activities, roleplay and writing in various genres. |

Voices and Values: Citizenship in Asia
Presented in magazine format with colour photographs and individual case studies that enable junior secondary students to explore the lively voices of young people of the Asia region, Voices and Values challenges students to view issues from a range of perspectives. Photographs and case studies are used to engage students in learning activities related to family, community interaction, student participation in school government, gender roles, environmental matters, population issues and national identity. |

Studies of Asia Curriculum Support Document
The Curriculum Support Document is a resource to assist Australian educators to develop curriculum about Asia at classroom, school and policy levels to achieve breadth, depth and sequence in studies of Asia across the curriculum. The document is designed to be relevant to the primary years of schooling, and, for secondary schools in English, Studies of Society and the Environment, and The Arts up to Year 10. This document allows for adaptation to suit local curriculum needs in each State and Territory. |
